HTML 4 basefont Tag

Obsolete in HTML5
This tag is obsolete in HTML5, so it's best to avoid using it.


The HTML basefont tag is used to specify a base font for the document to use.

The HTML basefont tag is deprecated in HTML 4.01 and not supported in HTML 5.

To set font properties, you should use the CSS font property instead.
